Fragments

Rada, Short Film

Concept and adaptation: Jonathan Parr
Directed by: Laura Dorn

Woyzeck is troubled.
His Mind won’t leave him alone and his history of substance abuse and crippling jealousy are doing nothing to help his deterioration.
But he has a family, a newborn, he needs to face his demons in order to have a chance at coming out the other end.

Fragments was conceived in two parts - as a standalone, experimental short film and as a live theatre performance that explored a dialogue between film, a live movement piece and the groundbreaking theory work of Antonin Artaud.

Fragments was released on the festival circuit in 2019 and is now available to view on Vimeo. It won several awards for Best Short, Best Director, Best Score and in the experimental categories.
The performance ran at both RADA and the Tristan Bates Theatre in London.
